Carolyn has been interested and involved in theater or the creative arts for much of her life. Her fascination began as a child when she wanted to grow up to be Lucille Ball (yeah, she’s old) and thus became the “class clown.”

When serving God became the focus of her life that creativity turned to writing books, (children’s Bible storybooks and women’s devotionals) and to performing with P.O.W.E.R. Company creative arts team at her church and now, with FlashPoints.

A life goal is found in Hebrews 10:24: “Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds.” Through writing, as a retreat speaker, in FlashPoints or just chatting over chai tea latte with a friend, that’s the goal.

Carolyn lives in Glen Ellyn, IL with her husband, Eric. Her three children and brand new GRANDSON are never far away!

Debbie began her creative explorations as a teenager as an expert saxophonist. Now, her interests and abilities have expanded to writing, creating videos and performing. She married into P.O.W.E.R. Company creative arts team thirteen years ago and has been performing ever since. When Debbie isn’t performing with FlashPoints, her “day job” is as Advertising & Promotions Manager for Tyndale House Publishers.

One of Debbie’s favorite verses is Ephesians 3:20 where it reminds her to give “all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

The God-ignited passion of FlashPoints to encourage women to walk closer to Christ grew from Debbie’s heart. Her constant desire is to motivate others to know Him and serve Him with their whole hearts.

Debbie lives in Batavia, IL with her husband, Ric, and their children, Kayla and Brandon.

Christy has been a performer since putting on plays as a child and cutting a record as a teen. Her creative abilities span writing, directing and performing.

Christy followed God’s direction to organize a puppet outreach ministry at her church. The team began with her husband and brother as puppeteers. She became the creative force behind P.O.W.E.R. Company creative arts team at her church. As that team’s director for the last 27 years, Christy has encouraged hundreds of young people and adults to discover and use their God-given talents. Christy travels around the world teaching classes on puppetry and creative arts for One Way Street Ministries. Christy’s heart aligns with the mission of FlashPoints to minister and encourage women as they walk with Christ. One of her favorite verses is: “I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.” Psalm 63:4.

Christy lives in Wheaton, IL with her husband, Jerry. Her four children and eight grandchildren all live nearby.

Cori began exploring her creative abilities as a five year old when her family joined a creative arts team at her church. She quickly learned to organize her younger brother and sister into an act to perform for their parents and guests.

Cori studied creative arts in college where she also served on the improv drama team, Green Room. She has been a member of P.O.W.E.R. Company creative arts team for most of her life. Cori enjoys creating and performing in the FlashPoints ministry that seeks to encourage and motivate women to know God better. Cori has traveled extensively teaching and performing in the creative arts.

The message of John 3:30 is Cori’s goal, “He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.”

Cori lives in Wheaton, IL with her husband, Jeff and their brand new son, Jude!
